SHAMANIC JOURNEY TO PERU AND LAKE TITICACA WITH MALLKU AND JORY ADAMSONMAY 15 - 25, 2009

You are invited to join a small group in a journey of the heart and soul as we discover the magic of the Andean culture of Peru. We will explore sacred sites of the Andes, experience the power of Machu Picchu and LakeTiticaca. Our guide, Mallku is an Andean shaman and spiritual leader who leads ceremonies and initiations into the earth based traditions of the Andean people. At this time of global uncertainty, we will gather together at power centers to call in the transformative energies of Pachamama. Together we immerse ourselves into the energies of this mystical land where the veil between the worlds falls away.
ITINERARYMay 15th: Depart USA
May 16th: Lima/Cusco/Sacred Valley of the Incas
May 17th: Sacred ValleyToday we discover the power center of Moray, an ancient Inka site with circular terraces that were used to create exceptional conditions or micro climates that fostered domestication, acclimatization and hybridization of a wide variety of wild vegetable species. Here Mallku will lead us in walking exercises and a meditation in the center circle of this amazing power spot which represents the heart of Pachamama. Continuing on to the salt mines of Maras, amazing ponds terraced down the Andean mountainside. Still in use today, these ponds are filled from a single salty spring. This spectacular place is an amazing therapeutic center where we will experience cleansing. In the afternoon we will explore the absolutely unique and ancient city of Ollantaytambo, where the buildings still retain the original architecture of the Inkas. We will have an opportunity to enter into one of the homes and see how the people have and continue to live for hundreds of years. As we explore the vast temple complex adjacent to the village, we will engage in a ceremony before returning to our hotel.
May 18th: Machu PicchuEarly in the morning we will take the train through breathtaking terrain. Arriving in Aguas Calientes, we will check into our hotel then take the bus up the winding road to the City in the Clouds. The legendary beauty of this magnificent city defies description. There are many trails and power sites to explore here, and we will have ample opportunity for ceremony to open to a deeper experience of the intrinsic magic of this amazing city. Mallku will guide us with esoteric insights on the various temples and power spots. Participate in inspiring spiritual ceremonies to enhance your connection with your divine self—a transpersonal, transformational journey within. In the evening we will have the option to bathe in the waters of Aguas Calientes.
May 19th: Machu Picchu/ CuscoEarly ascension to the Sacred City of Machu Picchu to take part in a shamanic journey to gain confidence in our soul’s unique purpose. Here we will experience a healing ceremony. We will give offerings to Pachamama and possibly climb to Wayna Picchu mountain. There will be time for introspection and contemplation on the mysteries of this holy city. Mallku will guide us to the secret path of Pachamama and to the Temple of Light. Today we learn to confront our fears and release hucha, heavy energy. The power entity of Machu Picchu will guide us to recognize our mission. In the afternoon, we return to the village to catch our train to our hotel in Cusco, arriving in the evening.
May 20th, Temple of the Waters/ WakasIn the morning we will travel to the Temple of the Waters at Tipon for a purification ceremony, then continue to the largest Solar Temple of the Andes in Sacsaywayman, visiting the Waka of the Puma in Q’enko. Mallku specializes in the significance and history of Q’enko. Before darkness falls, we will experience a closing meditation in a shamanic journey with drums. We return to overnight in Cusco.
May 21st: House of the MoonToday we discover the House of the Moon, where we will participate in a Vision Quest to encounter our shamanic path. In the evening we return to Cusco for free time to celebrate.
May 22, Cusco/PunoWe depart by private bus for Lake Titicaca stopping to pay homage to the magnificent Temple of Wiracocha, continuing and arriving in Puno late in the afternoon. Overnight in Puno.
May 23, Puno/Chivay – Colca CanyonAfter offering respect to the Sacred Lake Titicaca, we continue on to Chivay, a village at the entrance of the second deepest canyon in the world surrounded by amazing natural elements and mountains. Late in the afternoon, we have the opportunity to bathe at the hot springs of the area. Time for relaxation.
May 24, Colca Canyon/CondorEarly in the morning we will explore parts of the canyon where the majestic Condors live. This is an experience of illumination and inspiration. Here we will have our closing ritual and circle. Later that day, we continue on to the white city of Arequipa where we transfer to our hotel for the evening. Time to reflect.
May 25, Arequipa/Lima/HomeWe leave from Arequipa to fly to Lima where we’ll have time to explore Lima on our own before our international flights home.

Mallku has been studying for many years the power places of the Andes. The Andean architects were not only the builders of incredible structures, but also the masters of the power lines (ley-lines as known in western geomancy) existing in the world. He has made and uncovered significant discoveries about these geo-magnetic forces. His lectures and ceremonies demonstrate the importance of astronomical phenomena in the design and placement of these ancient temples. The Ancients understood and worked with these geo-magnetic forces, so that their temples and palaces would became power places to grow in spiritual essences and experiment with the high energies of Pachamama and Wiraqocha. Cuzco city is an example of this conscious style of architecture, where the suns pattern is extensively mapped to the equinoxes and solstices, the design of the city reflects this in every aspect. In the last 20 years of studies, Mallku has discovered some of the most important astronomical phenomena that are still visible at many of these 'power places'. He describes these ancient Andean buildings, the expression of an advanced "Feng Shui" technology, and the Andean architects, as masters of the spiritual path.
For the past 20 years, Jory Adamson has practiced as a psychotherapist, shamanic healer and Reiki Master/Teacher. As an energy practitioner, she specializes in clearing the luminous energy field around the body that connects to wounds held in the chakras. She also provides energetic chelation treatments to facilitate cellular healing. For many years, she has taught the shamanic path based on the traditions of the Q'ero of the Andes. She has been initiated into the Rites of Passage of a Mesa Carrier: One who is a keeper of the earth medicines, a ceremonial leader and a teacher of the Medicine Wheel. Her passion has led her to study with shaman and medicine women in Peru and Chile as well as with tribal healers in North America. For several years she has been leading journeys to sacred sites in both North and South America.
