I am a new student of this Q'ero-based work — worked on the South medicine only. That said, this little bit of work I have done with Jory's guidance has been wonderfully effective.

I wished for an undivided state of mind for performing my music, free of usual fears. As I lay down, I felt dread and intense weariness in my face and chest, turning to pain.

As I was guided to image Pachamama and Jaguar, these beings quickly were present. Basaltic Jaguar on my chest took the 'heavy energy' I gave to her and gave it to Pachamama, basalt monolith on my throat, carrying the sludge upwards now, spinning disc growing more radiant and colorful as it went higher atop the monolith, finally dispelling above me in the sky. All of the painful bodily symptoms left me.

I was awash with radiant energy, which filled me the rest of the day: This was mine, to recall and repeat!

What is golden to me is the visual vividness of the terms and tools we employed, which make the work so practical and available to memory. It seems to me that this practice is very distinct from struggling to transform oneself via huge intellectuality and the accompanying judgmental issues of most religious practices. Transformation can occur in this Q'ero-derived work immediately and imagistically. It's 'pictures a child can understand': one gets fully 'out of one's head'. Thank you!

My journey to Peru with Jory was a trip not only beyond my expectations, but beyond my imagination. While I wanted to visit some of the more well known sights, I was especially interested in the spiritual centers of the land and their significance to the culture. Thank you for organizing the trip of a lifetime for us! As you know I have wanted to experience Mach Picchu for a long time. Even with all of the pictures that I've seen, I had no idea how incredible this place would be. As I walked around the corner of the entrance and looked out at the site, I was awestruck. 		Two years ago, I started the Medicine Wheel training with Jory. She has great knowledge of many indigenous teachings that can sometimes be very confusing and hard to understand. I found Jory's training to be clear and concise. She creates a sacred and safe place for healing. Jory led me gently and powerfully to the places I was afraid to go by myself. After the first weekend, I walked out feeling empowered; I was able to use the tools she taught for my own healing and could also work with others seeking healing through the illumination process.
